Smile Nite Guard Led Solar Light

Dear Sir,
This is my first post and Im a new member. I have a T-14 house and 24 Gourds and had it up for the first time last year. I had one lone martin that got attacked while I was out of town. I know I have owls and hawks and Im in a rual area. My Dad found a little solar light that he bought me for christmas and it's called a Nite Guard and its supposed to guard against night time intruders. It has a small LED light that flashes every few seconds at night to keep away intruders. They tried really hard to get my Dad to buy four of them to protect every direction but they were about $ 29.00 each so for know I only have one. I would consider buying three more but I wanted to get another opinion before spending another $90.00
I look foward to your answer.

Regards
JD

Im not Professor BirdBrain but I'm board so I'm going to post. I hope he don't mind. Maybe I could intern for him.

I checked into getting a few set last year but like you was put off by the price.

If you think about it, its pretty much impossible to prove results unless you have nightly attacks and it stops after installing the solar light. If you only had 1 attack but never have another are they working or is it a false peace of mind. The best thing to do would set up predator guards on the house and pole.

I found this website that states that the lights will only work on migratory animals and not animals that winter in your area. Check it out.

Good like with the birds this year and keep us informed.
